Cheese form the Farm of the Walnut
The farm of the Walnut was created in 1997 as an extension of GAEC Le Noyer, a traditional farmhouse breeding and milk production. Its purpose is to enable young people passionate about their work and their country to remain working with the ground. With 7 employees today, it thrives while refining the AOC cheeses of our land and preparing traditional meats of Chablais.
You will find their products especially on local markets. You’ll meet Christopher and Thomas on the market of:
- Thonon Monday and Thursday morning
- Annemasse Friday morning
- Sciez Saturday morning
- Douvaine Sunday morning
where they will serve you.
In summer, the firm manages the alpin pasture of Neuvaz Trépertuis in the Massif of la Dent d’Oche, close to the Swiss border. From May to September, is at 1500m altitude and from a herd of cows and goats every day that are made traditional cheeses.
